The list goes on and on... The important thing here is the naturallity no matter the texture or even the color. Several different definitions of the term are provided, still one is the most clear and self-explanatory - relaxed hair that is completely chemical-free. Yes, for sure wavy and curly hair can sometimes (and by "sometimes" I mean maybe always) be unpredictable. But to be honest, we all want what we don't have. Most of us fight with our texture and this can lead to the damage none of us want. Spending hours trying to find a way how to straighten, curl or smooth down our strands all to achieve a more manageable look can sometimes end up not as we expected to.
Here I put a short part of an answer to the question "Why should I embrace my natural hair?" Going natural is a road best taken during your teen ages. Sabrina's words will tell you why.
"Growing up, I was inundated with fashion and beauty magazines that constantly promoted silky, flowing straight hair as the look du jour. I gradually began to loathe my own hair — a kinky, coily crown that was so unlike the beauty icons I looked up to. I often struggled with my hair in high school, chasing after a look that was physically impossible to achieve with my hair texture. It took me a long time to start loving my hair as it grew out of my head, and a large part of this change took place in high school. Every day I have the privilege of seeing fearless girls rebuke conventional beauty standards and they have inspired me to embrace my natural texture. All in all, going natural is a phenomenally rewarding experience and going natural in high school makes it even more worthwhile. It's allowed me to embrace who I am and learn more about myself as a person."

Let those words inspire you!
